How many of you have applied the positive thinking and mind power theories in your life only to be frustrated with the results?
Maybe you read a motivational book or attended a seminar and you were told that you only get what you expect. So you applied expectation to your dream and currently the dream looks more like a nightmare. Is it possible that the "What you sow, you reap law" has gone wrong for you? Why, you may ask.
The short of a long story is that we often only focus on the surface of the retribution law. It's true that what you sow you reap but what we forget is that there's supposed to be a space between sowing and reaping: it is not an instant process. If you try to reap in the wrong season, you reap frustration. If you try to reap in the wrong season, you do NOT get what you expect and you don't reap what you sowed. It's for this reason most ancient religious texts speak of everything having an order and a season.
Imagine a farmer deciding to reap a crop in the wrong season and later proclaiming he's a failure as a farmer when the harvest fails. You would laugh at him and tell him to look at the calendar. Trouble is, in our own lives, we do a similar thing far too often and then wonder why things turn out wrong. If results are contrary to your expectations, go check the season - you might just be early.
Don't mistake delay for denial by life. Timing is everything - for this reason, patience is a vital ingredient in success planning. Patience will give you keys to the kingdom!
I am not an easy person to get to truly know.
It is rare for me to show my true self to anyone.
This reluctance to express my feelings openly is steeped in a fear
of being exposed to attack.
Despite my cautious approach to showing my emotions, my passions run deep.
Emotionally, there are very few gray areas for me.
I either love something or you hate it.
I thrive on intense emotional situations and unrestrained passion.
The world's many mysteries enthrall me.
Although deeply emotional,I am very good at keeping my feelings in check
when events call for a cool head and clear thinking.
I am very curious about everything around me.
I love anything that challenge me mentally.
However, I am a bit of an intellectual gypsy,
and rarely stay with any one subject long enough to fully understand it.
Subjects simply grow stale very fast for me,
and the next subject is a lure I cannot resist.
I learn very quickly and I have the ability
to see why things are the way they are
and sometimes where they are going in the future.
Nothing irritates me more today than small-minded prejudices.
My goals in life are not usually mainstream in nature.
I tend to draw my goals from my innerworld.
I tend to keep both my frustrations and my hopes to myself.
At times I lack confidence and the courage to take action.
I need to develop self-assurance.
